What is next?
My name is Christian Millet. I'm a transplant from Peru by way of Los Angeles and Dallas, and I eventually found my home in Denver.
Four years ago, I founded Rising Gallery with one simple goal: to create a platform for emerging local, national, and international artists, with a specialization in stencil art and street art. From the beginning, Rising has been about more than selling art—it has been about building relationships, supporting artists, and creating a community where creativity and culture thrive.
Over the past four years, we've cultivated an incredible roster of artists and an international network of collectors who have helped shape who we are, what we're about, and what we do. Along the way, we've made lifelong friends, created unforgettable experiences, and had the privilege of introducing remarkable artists to new audiences. Every exhibition, every conversation, and every piece of art that has found a new home has been part of an amazing journey, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Today, we're announcing the next chapter of Rising Gallery.
Effective immediately, we will be closing our physical gallery space. While this marks the end of one chapter, it is far from the end of Rising. In fact, it represents an exciting evolution.
Rising Gallery has always been more than a gallery. It is the umbrella company behind a growing family of projects, concepts, and brands that share the same passion for contemporary urban art and culture. Going forward, Rising Gallery will oversee and manage IDGAF Collective, The Drop Shop, Art for Your Couch, and several new initiatives currently in development. This transition gives us the opportunity to expand our reach, support artists in new ways, and continue growing beyond the limitations of a traditional gallery space.
Our original location isn't going anywhere. It will continue to serve as the headquarters for all Rising Gallery operations. The murals, the atmosphere, the creative energy, and the spirit that made the space special will all remain. While the public gallery model is evolving, our headquarters will continue to be the home base for everything we do.
Our newest venture, The Drop Shop, opened successfully three months ago in the same neighborhood and has already become an exciting extension of our vision. The shop offers a relaxed, approachable environment with an eclectic mix of highly collectible yet affordable street art, making it a destination for seasoned collectors and first-time buyers alike.
As we make this transition, all of the key artwork and many of the artists you've come to know through Rising Gallery will continue to be represented and featured at The Drop Shop. We invite you to stop in, discover what's new, and continue supporting the artists who have helped shape our story.
Our mentality hasn't changed. Our passion hasn't changed. We're simply shifting, adapting, and growing as the art world continues to evolve.
To everyone who has walked through our doors, attended an opening, purchased a piece of art, collaborated with us, or simply believed in our vision—thank you. Your support has made Rising Gallery what it is today, and we're incredibly excited for what comes next.
Please stay with us as we launch new exhibitions, collaborations, artist releases, and exciting new projects. Be sure to visit The Drop Shop and follow us on Instagram to stay connected and keep up with everything happening across the Rising Gallery family.
This isn't goodbye.
This isn't the end of Rising Gallery.
It's the beginning of our next chapter.
Different walls. Bigger canvas. Same mission.
See you soon.
