Guillaume plamondon
A French-Canadian artist, Guillaume has long nurtured a deep passion for visual arts, which began as a collector and fully took shape when he became a full-time artist in 2022. After spending 12 years working on ship docks, he sought greater purpose and alignment with his values, ultimately redirecting his life toward artistic creation. Initially inspired by the contemporary artists he admired and collected, Guillaume experienced a turning point upon discovering Posca markers. This led him to develop a unique urban style that blends spray paint, mixed media, and hand-cut stencils. He also distinguishes himself by integrating his artwork into functional objects, particularly through furniture restoration—creating one-of-a-kind pieces where art meets utility. Since 2022, Guillaume has dedicated himself entirely to his practice. His work has been exhibited in Quebec City, Montreal, and Colorado, and has been sold internationally. Driven by a constantly evolving creative approach, he continues to explore new techniques and mediums, establishing a distinctive visual signature shaped by both urban and contemporary influences. My work has been featured in multiple exhibitions in Canada, Europe, and the United States and in print publications series by 1xRun.
